After my trip
across the states in 96 I shipped the Pan from LA to Switzerland where
she arrived in spring 1997. I rode the Pan in Europe for three years
without changing anything. There were a view trips in 1997 and 1998 in the
closer area of Switzerland and the two bigger the trips to Trondheim
in February 1999 and to Sweden in summer
1999.
I never really liked the swing
arm frame and in my head a new project started to take shape. January 2000
I was ready to take my Pan apart.....

 |
First of all I had to
disassemble the Pan because the plan was to switch from a swing arm to a rigid frame. "Did he never wash that bike????"
Dirt and grease all over... |
 |
Motor wash!! Well, what is a cleaner for small parts for? Ok, the engine does not
really fit in there! |
 |
After cleaning all the parts an
powdercouting of the whole front-end, the frame and some other parts I could start to put
the bike together again. |
 |
'Roll out' of the first design
study in the spring sun. Think I have to cut that rear
fender a little. |
 |
That's better!! |
 |
That's it.
